Professor Tadao Hama, a patriarch of Japanese pigment cell biology, at the Third International Symposium on Comparative Endocrinology held in Oiso, Japan in 1961. (after Bagnara, J.T., Pigment Cell Res. 12: 48-65 (1999)).
